March was a busy month for statehouses, as many state legislatures head toward the final weeks of the legislative session. For full-time legislatures, this is a pivotal time for lawmaking before election-year politics and the campaign rush take over heading into November. State attorneys general are known to collaborate with each other and share ideas, so moving forward we are watching the policies that are being passed as we might see them pop up in other states.
