Today, the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), together with 42 other trade associations, delivered a letter to President Biden requesting a pause on all current rulemakings and a halt to the implementation of new rules considering the Supreme Court’s recent Chevron decision.

“The Biden Administration has been pushing through new regulations at a breakneck pace, often by stretching their legal authority to do so,” said Brian Wild, Chief Government Relations Officer at NAW. “The court’s recent action to reign in the executive branch should be taken seriously. The Administration should pause further actions and review their authority before advancing any further rulemaking.”

NAW is one of America’s leading trade associations, representing the $8 trillion wholesale distribution industry. Our industry employs more than 6 million workers throughout the United States, accounting for approximately 1/3 of the U.S. GDP. 250,000 wholesale distribution companies operate across North America, including all 50 states.
