Building materials distributor PrimeSource Brands has completed its second acquisition in less than two months, adding decorative bath and plumbing products supplier JACLO Industries.

Irving, TX-based PrimeSource announced Sept. 25 that it acquired Cranford, NJ-based Durst Corporation, which operates as JACLO Industries. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal marks PrimeSource’s 12th acquisition since private equity firm Clearlake Capital Group partnered with the company in December 2020.

Founded in 1901, JACLO operates the JACLO and Durst brands. JACLO offers decorative plumbing products including shower systems, faucets, grab bars, drains and bath accessories across more than 35 coordinated finishes. Durst supplies valves, fittings, drainage products and water supply and heating components for plumbing wholesalers and professional trades.

The business serves decorative plumbing showrooms, wholesalers and home improvement retailers across North America and will join PrimeSource’s Dimora Brands platform, which includes Top Knobs, Hardware Resources, Atlas Homewares, Watermark Designs and Water Street Brass.

“JACLO gives us a complete decorative bath and plumbing assortment for the showroom and designer channel,” PrimeSource CEO Tom Koos said.

The transaction follows PrimeSource’s Aug. 3 acquisition of Edison, NJ-based Starborn Industries — a provider of branded fastening products and installation systems for decking and other exterior applications.

Starborn’s brands include Deckfast, Pro Plug, Cap-Tor xd, Headcote and Smart-Bit. Its products are sold into residential and commercial construction markets through distributors, dealers and partnerships with decking and trim manufacturers. PrimeSource said the acquisition complemented both its fastener portfolio — including Grip-Rite and Cobra — and its Wolf-branded outdoor living products.

PrimeSource began 2026 by acquiring Advantage Industries on Jan. 13. The Deerfield Beach, FL-based company provides gate and fence hardware, including self-closing hinges, pool safety latches and related accessories, primarily through its Safetech Hardware brand.

PrimeSource offers more than 100,000 SKUs across construction fasteners, decorative hardware, fencing and railing and other specialty building products. It serves more than 56,000 customer locations from 64 sites across 26 states and two countries.
