The Plumbing, HVAC and industrial products giant reported fiscal 1Q sales of roughly $7.9 billion, compared with $6.8. billion a year prior.
The company reported that year-over-year 3Q sales increased, but earnings dipped slightly from 2022’s second quarter.
The company also reaffirmed its fiscal 2022 guidance, including comparable sales growth of approximately 3%.
The company reported fiscal 2023 second-quarter net sales of $369.2 million, and increase of 129.4% over last year.
The distributor’s 33.8% year-over-year sales increase in 3Q follows a 28.7% annual increase reported in this year’s 2Q.
The Canadian industrial distributor says it continued to see overall strength in its backlog, which increased to more than $558 million.
The Sonepar company also said its 500,000-square-foot Central Distribution Center in Katy, Texas, will open by the end of the year.
Third-quarter sales reached $904 million, a 7% sequential increase from the second quarter of 2022 and a 32% improvement over 3Q 2021.
In the first quarter and second quarter of 2022, year-over-year growth topped 36.1% and 24.2%, respectively.
Fastenal’s eCommerce sales represent 17.4% of total company year-to-date sales, the company announced.
Masonite’s net income for 2022’s third quarter was $57 million, a 51% increase over the same quarter in 2021.
Lawson Products changed its name to Distribution Solutions Group after merging with TestEquity Gexpro Services in April.
