Industrial and MRO supplies distributor BlackHawk Industrial announced Oct. 27 the opening of a new 72,000-square-foot distribution facility in Tulsa, OK, expanding its regional logistics capabilities.

The facility, located at 12322 E. 55th St., is designed to strengthen BlackHawk’s service to manufacturers across Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and North Texas.

The distribution hub includes approximately 10,000 square feet of office space and expanded capacity for cutting tools, abrasives, coolants, specialty fasteners, structural studs and other MRO supplies.

BlackHawk said the investment is designed to accommodate future growth and customer demand while supporting manufacturers’ efforts to improve productivity, reduce operating costs and minimize downtime.

“BlackHawk continues to grow, and our new Tulsa warehouse represents an important investment in both our business and the community we serve,” said John Mark, BlackHawk President and CEO. “We offer a breadth of capabilities under one roof that sets us apart in the eastern Oklahoma market, and we’re incredibly proud of that. The way we support our customers is a direct reflection of the strength and dedication of our team. We’re proud to officially open this facility and remain committed to growing alongside the Tulsa community for years to come.”

The company celebrated the opening Oct. 22 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Tulsa Regional Chamber, attended by BlackHawk leadership, employees and Chamber representatives.

Michigan Facility Expansion

The Tulsa opening follows BlackHawk’s Oct. 8 announcement that it had expanded its operations in Jackson, MI, with a new, larger facility at 1700 Ayrshire Lane.

The Jackson investment expands the distributor’s capabilities to serve regional manufacturers through industrial products, technical expertise, vendor-managed inventory and supply chain solutions.

BlackHawk showcased the facility during an Oct. 15 open house featuring facility tours, live product and technology demonstrations and opportunities for customers to engage with company and supplier experts.

Mark said the Jackson expansion supports BlackHawk’s broader growth strategy while strengthening local customer service capabilities.

BlackHawk operates locations across the U.S., Mexico and the Philippines, offering nearly 3 million products spanning metalworking, MRO, industrial fasteners and packaging. Its services include technical sales support, custom industrial vending and supply chain solutions.
