Toby Mack is President and CEO of Energy Equipment and Infrastructure Alliance (EEIA), the trade association representing the North American energy supply chain—suppliers of equipment, construction, materials, supplies, and services to oil and gas upstream, midstream and downstream infrastructure and operations. EEIA’s membership includes the major trade organizations and companies in the energy supply chain. EEIA enhances public support for fossil energy, and advocates at the federal and state levels for policies that encourage full development of our vast oil, gas and liquids resources, especially those newly accessible through advances in discovery and extraction technologies including horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing. EEIA also provides information on the energy supply chain marketplace and on its economic and employment contributions to the economy. Prior to joining EEIA in 2013, Toby served since 1990 as President and CEO of Associated Equipment Distributors. Before that, he served as CEO of the National Electronic Distributors Association, as Vice President of the Electronic Industries Association, and as a U. S. Navy surface warfare officer including combat service during the Vietnam War.
