Biography

Rebecca Achurch is Director of Business Solutions at Old Town IT. With more than 16 years of association management experience, Rebecca has an in-depth knowledge of technology solutions and a passion for building long-term and trusted partnerships to help organizations meet their strategic and operational goals. Her ability to match technology with organizational culture has resulted in an extensive track record of completing complex projects through teambuilding, fostering clear communications, and right-sizing solutions.

For 13 years prior to joining Old Town IT, Rebecca was with the American Chemical Society (ACS), most recently serving as association management system (AMS) program manager. She built and managed a team of more than 15 project managers, business analysts, and developers to implement innovative applications for both internal business units and ACS members. One of her cornerstone achievements was leading the successful transition of the legacy database to two new systems: a fulfillment system for institutional subscribers and an AMS (netFORUM) for individual members. This organizational-wide initiative spanned more than four years and brought efficiency, stability, and enterprise technology that ACS continues to leverage today to advance its mission. This project is one of the largest and most successful netFORUM implementations to date.
