Ellen Holladay

Biography

Ellen Holladay is Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Operational Excellence Officer for Motion Industries. With more than 550 locations in North America, Motion is a leading distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products to more than 150,000 government and industrial companies. In addition to a vast product offering of bearings, power transmission, fluid power, and industrial supplies, Motion offers a broad array of value-added services in the areas of customer inventory management, storeroom management, asset and repair tracking, and vending.

With a tenure of 24 years, Ellen has led the development of Motion’s highly refined supply chain capabilities, including a comprehensive integration platform designed to address the complex requirements associated with B2B transactions among North America’s leading manufacturers and suppliers. In addition, she leads the eBusiness and Operational Excellence (process improvement) groups within Motion. Prior to joining Motion, Ellen served for six years as a management consultant at Ernst & Young, concentrating in the area of Information Technology, System Design, and Technology Planning within the Southeast Manufacturing and Distribution practice.
