BiographyLinda Ban is the Global C-suite Study Director for the IBM Institute for Business Value (IBV). Linda’s background includes more than twenty-five years in information technology, business and operations strategy, and systems development. Her career focus has been in anticipating the next “new thing” and bridging the technical and business sides of the organization – ensuring that technology solutions support the objectives of the enterprise as a whole. Linda has extensive experience in running large programs, ranging from enterprise system implementations and upgrades to organization-wide communication networks. In addition to these roles, she also has extensive experience in creating, implementing and overseeing the accompanying organizations that provide operational support for both the technical and business side of these functions.
In her current role as the Global C-suite Study Director, she provides the leadership, strategy, and program oversight for the overall IBM C-suite Study program within IBV, where IBM has interviewed more than 18,000 C-suite executives face-to-face during the last nine years. She works with global teams to focus on trend identification and strategies that address critical business challenges faced by companies globally. In addition to her leadership role for the overall program, she has published extensively on a broad range of business topics, challenges and solutions.
