-Currently serving as Vice President – Inventory Management of The Harvard Drug Group (a $.5 billion pharmaceutical distributor)
-Consultant with JDA Software Inc, providing strategic consulting and advisory service for supply chain solutions including business process mapping, software solutions and design for retail companies.
-Kerry held the position of Director – Planning & Allocation, Border’s Group Inc (a $1+ billion book retailer). In this role he reported directly to the Sr. Vice President – Planning & Allocation and was responsible for creating a new organization within the company.
−Successfully developed new planning and allocation staff within the company by establishing teams, business processes and re-implementing the replenishment system.
−Established new supply chain goals which yielded annual benefits of $15 million dollars due to consolidation from multi DC’s to 3 strategically located DC’s.
-Kerry held the position of Director – Inventory Management, Michael’s Stores Inc (a $4+ billion specialty retailer). In this role he reported directly to the Vice President of Inventory Management and was responsible for a implementing replenishment software and managing $1 + billion in sales and $500 million in inventory.
−Successfully lead the implementation of the replenishment system ($8 million capital investment) which enabled Michael’s to grow over 5 years with record sales and profits (avg. 5% comp growth), while increasing inventory turns and productivity.
−Lead the supply chain effort s to evaluate the profitability for strategic sourcing initiative which yielded a $21 million annual benefit on capital and transportation expense.
