Angel K. Hoover


Angel Hoover is a Senior Consultant in the Talent and Rewards Practice at Towers Watson. Angel has more than fifteen years of experience leading projects in the areas of leadership alignment, workforce strategy and analytics, talent strategy, organizational design and business transformation. Recent engagements involved: •Developing a global talent strategy for a decentralized Fortune 50 organization, including the 3-year talent roadmap, implementation plan and career management tools •Facilitating a global team of operational Presidents to design a strategy and roadmap for managing talent across the global footprint •Redesigning HR, IT, legal and supply chain functions to align with new transformative corporate strategy and operations structure •Conducting analysis of the current workforce to determine strengths and gaps that need to be leveraged/addressed to support the achievement of the business strategy •Leading an outsourcing transition for a Fortune 300 energy/utility, including the full redesign of the organizational structure and operating model •Designing and implementing a career management framework, including a functional competency model, staff assessment, and development program that enables improved attraction, engagement and retention of key talent •Facilitating a global team of leaders to finalize the design of a functional competency model and career advancement tools •Redesigning and implementing a compensation system to standardize and streamline base pay compensation practices, procedures, and administration •Providing overall change management and communication leadership and project management for transformational activities Before joining Towers Watson, Angel was the Director of Enterprise Transformation and Organization Development at a publicly traded energy corporation. Prior to that, she was an executive in the Organization and Change Management Practice at Accenture. Angel holds a Masters degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin and Bachelors degrees from the University of Minnesota in Business Management and Communications.
