BiographyDeborah Baron is Vice President, Legal and Compliance at Autonomy, Inc. where she is responsible for advanced information governance and electronic discovery, assisting clients with strategy and workflow, and contributions to industry standards and best practices. Ms. Baron is on the Advisory Board of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) Project and a long standing member of The Sedona ConferenceŽ WG1 and WG6 (International). She actively participates in industry forums and conferences speaking on eDiscovery, compliance and Proactive Information Risk Management. Ms. Baron authors articles for US and international publications, conducts MCLE courses nationally, and regularly meets with clients and industry thought leaders.
Prior to joining Autonomy Ms. Baron was a Director and lead product strategy for ZANTAZ Corp. a leader in archiving, compliance and eDiscovery. Prior to that she held the position of Group Manager, Email Products at Lotus Development/IBM and has held domestic and international management positions with Hewlett Packard. Ms. Baron has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University and a BA in economics from Occidental College. Ms. Baron and her firm provide software and hosted services to assist attorneys and organizations in processing, search and management of electronic data for compliance, litigation and operational efficiency.
