BiographyMatt Podowitz is a strategic management consultant with over 17 years of experience assisting entrepreneurial, middle market and Fortune 500 clients maximize returns on investment in operations and information technology and address business considerations in strategic transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Matt is an accomplished professional speaker and presents several times annually on M&A and IT value creation topics at large national and international conferences and at local chapter meetings of various professional organizations. He has spoken to conferences organized by Strategic Research Institute, Law Seminars International, Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors. In 2010, Matt was invited to join ISACA’s IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Conference Task Force and offered a seat on the associated IT Governance Forum.

Matt is a Certified Management Consultant and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology, as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He currently serves as an Executive Director the Business Advisory Services practice of Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, one of the six global audit, tax and advisory organizations and previously led a global IT advisory practice for a Big 4 firm.
