Matt Holt


Matt Holt is Vice-President of Human Resources for Dot Foods, a position he has held for three years. In this role, he is responsible for upholding high standards for staffing, benefits, safety, wellness, and diversity. In all of his roles, heís been in a position to propel Dotís growth, which has positively impacted 3,500 peopleís lives, coast to coast. In his 15-year Dot career, Matt developed a well-rounded insight into the business. He began his career in sales, as a district and regional sales manager, and then moved to transportation manager at Dotís Illinois headquarters. He took on distribution center management experience when named New York DC general manager during the 2002 Drescher acquisition and later was placed in charge of the New York, Georgia, and Maryland DCs as eastern region general manager. Matt has bachelorís degrees in economics and Spanish from the University of Illinois, in addition to his study abroad work at the University of Valencia in Spain. He chairs Dotís Diversity Leadership Group and is an advisor for Dotís Womenís Leadership Group. He is an active member in the Womenís Foodservice Forum and belongs to the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM) and National Association of Wholesalers (NAW). Within the community, he serves on the boards for the YMCA of Wildwood, MO and the United Hebrew Congregation.
