BiographyBeverly L. Propst is Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Beverly is responsible for developing and executing Graybar’s human resources strategy in support of the Company’s overall business plan and overseeing the Company’s policies and programs relating to employment, including: recruiting and retention; talent and performance management; succession planning; training and employee development; compensation; benefits; payroll; employee and labor relations; and compliance with applicable employment laws.
Beverly began her career at Graybar in February 2002 as Corporate Counsel in the Legal Department. She advanced to Senior Corporate Counsel in April 2003. In April 2008, she was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources. She was promoted to Senior Vice President and elected to the Company’s Board of Directors in 2009 and also serves on the Executive, Compensation, IT, Finance, Branch House, Audit, Contribution and Employees’ Benefit Committees of the Board. Prior to joining Graybar, she was Senior Associate with the law firm of Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt in St. Louis.
Ms. Propst received her undergraduate degree from Albion College and her juris doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and is licensed in Missouri and Illinois. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Forest Park Forever, and the Human Resources Committee of the Magic House.
Beverly and her husband Todd have three children. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, pilates and family photography.
