Kent Van Amburg, CAE
Kent has over 25 years experience in various aspects of the association management industry including government affairs, research development and executive management. Kent began his career in Washington, DC with the Foreign Service. He then spent 10 years representing the U.S. grain industry in international trade negotiations as the Director of Government and Industry Affairs for the Grains Council. Kent moved into the arena of association management as the Executive Director of 4 associations within the American Trucking Association. Kentís experience with Association Management Companies has included working for Smith Bucklin and Associates and the Talley Management Group. Kent currently serves as the Executive Director of the Gases and Welding Distributors Association within Fernley & Fernley.
Kent has a Masters degree from Purdue University in international economics.
