Brian Vines is an assistant director for The Hartford Financial Services Group. He is responsible for developing and retaining the competency and expertise of over 180 field consultants for the delivery of risk evaluation and risk improvement services within the Loss Control Department. In his current role, he has created and improved various protocols and procedures that have positively affected client planning, continuity of operations and efficiency. Vines has over fifteen years of occupational safety experience, including the lead in the successful implementation and management of business continuity plans for over 130 locations, totaling approximately 30,000 employees at The Hartford. He was responsible for all aspects of worker’s compensation, automobile liability and general liability programs for The Hartford and managed risk mitigation for the corporation’s insurance programs prior to joining Loss Control. His industry background includes manufacturing, consulting, insurance and financial services. He resides in Hartford, CT with his wife, April and daughter, Cameron.
