Anthony F. Campagna

Biography

Anthony F. Campagna, Ph.D., is Emeritus Professor of Management and Human Resources, Max M. Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. He also holds a joint appointment with the School of Public Administration. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1964) and his Masters of Business Administration (1966) and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from UCLA (1971). Dr. Campagna has been teaching and conducting research at The Ohio State University since 1970. He has taught courses in human resources management, employee relations, and public policy in both the public and private sectors.

Dr. Campagna has worked extensively in executive education programs at The Ohio State University and with other universities and trade associations. He has taught for a number of years in the Executive Education Program, the IBM Materials Management Seminar, The National Wholesaler’s Management Program, and the National Office Products Association Dealer Management Institute. He has also been an invited case study leader at the Columbia University Executive Development Program.

Dr. Campagna’s research interests include studies in human resource management, especially the formulation and implementation of corporate human resource strategy; employment relations in regulated industries, especially in the utility industry, human resource management and compensation in the office products industry.

He has written and published a number of technical research reports and articles in various professional journals and publications on the above topics. Dr. Campagna is a member of the Academy of Management and the Industrial Relations Research Association.
