BiographyGerald is a Principal of the Leadership Development Group (LDG), based in Columbus, Ohio. He received his master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. He was formerly employed as director of training at The Ohio State University Counseling and Consultation Service and as an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology and Medicine. Gerald retains an appointment at The Ohio State University and lectures for the School of Public Policy and Management, and for Executive Education. He is a past president of the Central Ohio American Society for Training and Development and a member of the American Psychological Association. In addition, he has served on numerous public and private sector boards, including those on the NASDAQ. Gerald serves as a consultant throughout the United States, helping both public and private sector organizations assess and develop their human resources. Areas of expertise include stress and change management, team development, interpersonal communication skills, leadership development and assessment, culture change, the human side of mergers and acquisitions, and executive coaching.
