Hendrie to lead anti-trust, healthcare and work on tax policy, Wells to oversee NAW Member Engagement

Washington, D.C.-  The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), which represents the $7.4 trillion wholesale-distribution industry, has hired Alex Hendrie as Associate Vice President for Government Relations and Natasha Wells as Vice President of Corporate Engagement

“I am thrilled to welcome Alex and Natasha to the growing team here at NAW,” said NAW CEO Eric Hoplin. “As a leading tax expert in DC, Alex brings incredible experience to NAW’s Government Relations team, and he will lead NAW’s efforts on antitrust and healthcare issues, which will have a lasting positive impact on our members. Natasha joins our Corporate Relations team and will lead the charge in engaging more deeply with our members, understanding their needs, and help us serve them better. I am so excited to welcome them both to the team,” concluded Hoplin

Prior to joining NAW, Hendrie was Director of Tax Policy at Americans for Tax Reform where he led the organization’s outreach, policy, and lobbying on federal tax, healthcare, and economic issues.

“NAW’s GR team is a staple here in Washington and I am excited to be joining at such a pivotal moment,” said Alex Hendrie. “I look forward to advocating for policies that will benefit our members and the wholesale distribution industry in the antitrust, tax policy and healthcare space,” concluded Hendrie.

For nearly 18 years, Natasha has made significant contributions to revenue production, data analytics, and membership engagement at the National Federation of Independent Business as the Director of Sales Operations.  A native Floridian, Wells is a graduate of the University of Florida where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

“In every successful trade organization, there are those times when a perfect storm of talent, drive, and true grit come together to ignite the passions of those around them,” said Natasha Wells. “I’m honored to be working with the kind of leadership that is committed to taking NAW to the next level because from my perspective, there’s nothing this team and our members can’t accomplish…together,” concluded Wells.
