Eric Hoplin is President and CEO of NAW, representing 30,000 companies that account for one-third of the American economy, by supplying businesses with the products they need to serve their customers in nearly every sector of commerce. Previously, he served as Head of External Relations for Wells Fargo and Executive Director of the Financial Services Roundtable, a major trade association representing the CEOs of the largest financial institutions. Government Relations and the NAW Political Action Committee

Jade West is Chief Government Relations Officer and oversees NAW’s legislative activities on Capitol Hill. She is also Executive Director of the NAW Political Action Committee. Prior to joining NAW, Jade served as Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee and was responsible for a staff of policy experts who provided technical and policy analysis, research papers, talking points, and detailed legislative summaries to Republican Senators and their staffs. In addition, she served as Executive Director of the U.S. Senate Steering Committee.

Blake Adami is NAW’s Vice President-Government Relations and his primary areas of responsibility include health care, workforce and workforce benefits, and labor issues.  He concurrently serves as Political Director of the NAW Political Action Committee.  Blake is also a member of the Management and/or Steering Committees of several coalitions, including the Employer’s Health Care Clearinghouse, the National Coalition on Benefits, the Partnership for Employer Sponsored Coverage, and the Stop the HIT (Health Insurance Tax) Coalition.  Prior to joining NAW, he served for nearly ten years in the House of Representatives as a Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director.

Seth Waugh is the Associate Vice President-Government Relations, with primary responsibility for transportation and infrastructure. He also serves as Deputy Political Director of NAW’s Political Action Committee. Prior to joining NAW, Seth served as Director of Government Affairs for the Portland Cement Association. He also lobbied for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the U.S., and the National Association for Biomedical Research. He managed the grassroots operations across 14 states for the National Rifle Association and spent nearly five years on the staff of the late U.S. Senator George Voinovich (R-OH). He also worked for the Ohio House of Representatives and on political campaigns throughout the country.

Joy Goldman is Vice President-Administration and Manager-Government Relations. She is also Manager-Internal Operations for the NAW Political Action Committee. Joy’s primary areas of responsibility include database management, office administration and management of several political and government relations programs.

Thought Leadership

Patricia A. Lilly is Chief Thought Leadership Officer and Executive Director of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence. She has overall responsibility for thought leadership functions, including identification, development and distribution of research studies, and is responsible for certain activities in the areas of communications, sponsorship sales, meetings and educational programming.

Ruth Stadius is Vice President of Thought Leadership and is responsible for the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence publishing program, which includes identifying, developing and producing research studies and webinars, as well as publication sales. She also has direct responsibilities in the areas of sponsorship sales, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations and media relations.

Corporate Relations

John D. Peter is Chief Corporate Relations Officer and has overall responsibility for Corporate Relations, and Membership and Association relations. He is responsible for membership development for NAW’s Billion Dollar Company Program and Large Company Emphasis Program (for wholesaler-distributors with sales of more than $100 million to $1 billion). He is also the liaison to NAW’s national and regional associations.

Adam Isenberg is Vice President-Corporate Relations. Since 2012, Adam has focused on presenting the NAW value proposition to prospective Billion Dollar and Large Company distribution executives from coast to coast. Adam is also heavily involved in the organization and planning of the Billion Dollar and Large Company Roundtables, which NAW holds for top distribution leaders within specific dedicated fields (e.g., CFO, CIO, CHRO, Operations, Legal). At NAW, we consider a distribution firm with $100M to $1B in top line sales to be a “Large Company Member.”

Before joining NAW, Adam was a mainstay in the political and membership arena, having worked on various grassroots and media campaigns, helping the private sector and associations of all sizes stay connected to Washington while providing them a platform to make their voices heard.

Tara Mostatab is Senior Director-Membership Services and has overall responsibility for the Billion Dollar and Large Company Executive Roundtables. Prior to this position, she served as NAW Senior Manager of Thought Leadership where she actively engaged in the planning for the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence Board meeting, NAW’s Distribution Program for Rising Stars, and the Association Executive Council meetings. In addition, Tara managed webinars which included coordinating with sponsors, speakers, and production team.
