In this presentation, Oliver Wyman will explore the most critical trends impacting Billion Dollar distributors in 2016, and provide a bold vision for strategic actions that Billion Dollar distributors can initiate in 2017 to drive their business performance in the upcoming 3-5 years. NAW & Oliver Wyman developed this session with the NAW Billion Dollar CEO Advisory Panel. Oliver Wyman has interviewed nearly 15 Billion Dollar CEOs and surveyed over 70 distribution C-suite executives for this presentation.

About The Speakers

Keith is a Partner in the Technology practice area at Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm. He also is a member of the North American Commercial Effectiveness practice area, advising his clients on a wide array of issues related to increasing the profitability and value of their companies through innovative commercial strategies. Mr. Creehan’s experience at Oliver Wyman has spanned a wide array of industries, including high tech, aerospace, specialty materials, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Creehan graduated cum laude in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He received an M.S., with distinction, in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University.

Shri Santhanam is a Partner with Oliver Wyman Labs, where he focuses on commercial effectiveness topics like pricing, growth, marketing, and sales force effectiveness. Shri is passionate about using engineering approaches and technology to drive sustained commercial impact in companies. He has spent over a decade working in a range of sectors, including distribution, retail, hi-tech and transportation. Billion Dollar CEOs are lasered focused on cyber security. CEOs are now sharing the responsibility for security, beyond just the CIOs. The topic of security is now unquestionably a priority for the entire C-suite, and any organization that delegates security matters solely to the CIO is compounding its risk factors. This enhanced focus has occurred because breaches are everyday news, and liability cost is soaring. Jade West will provide her expert perspective on the reported business agendas for both the Republican (Donald J. Trump) and Democratic (Hillary Rodham Clinton) Presidential nominees, and the possible effects to the business landscape for large company wholesale distributors.

About The Speaker

Jade West is Senior Vice President-Government Relations for the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. She also serves as Executive Director of the NAW Political Action Committee. Jade is the senior lobbyist for NAW, advocating the interests of the wholesale distribution industry in Washington both on Capitol Hill and in the regulatory agencies. In addition, she is Executive Secretariat for the 1,000-member Tax Relief Coalition and the LIFO Coalition. Jade is a Steering Committee member of the Alliance for Tax Fairness and Growth, and she is on the Management Committee of the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace, which leads the opposition to organized labor’s effort to remove secret ballot elections from union certification elections and force employers into binding “interest arbitration” in negotiating contracts. Jade is also a Director of the Business Industry Political Action Committee and a Founder and Director of the trade association Get Out the Vote Best Practices Group, both working to maximize the turnout of pro-business voters in federal elections. Before joining NAW in 2002, Jade was a senior aide on Capitol Hill for more than 20 years.
