The NAW Billion Dollar Company Chief Information Officer Roundtable for direct members was created as a new mechanism for the CIO’s of large distribution enterprises to network with non-competing peers in multiple lines of trade on key IT issues.

Similar to other billion dollar roundtables NAW has created for the CLO, CFO, Operations, and CHRO, this by invitation only roundtable is composed of executives from billion dollar companies that meet in Chicago two times per year. This highly interactive group consists of the SENIOR-MOST IT executives. The annual fee is $1,800 per member, which covers meeting costs of four events in a twelve month cycle. Participants are expected to cover the cost of their hotel and travel. Once the annual fee is paid, there are no additional fees to attend the meetings, which will last one day beginning with a reception and dinner the evening before.

The participating companies can also name an alternate who can take the place of the enrolled Executive, should that person be unable to attend the scheduled meeting.

If you would like to learn more please contact Tara Mostatab at 202.263.4080 or

Eligibility: Companies with $1B+ in annual revenue.
The NAW Billion Dollar Roundtable is the only opportunity that provides networking and benchmarking exclusively with other top executives of non competing, like-sized Wholesale-Distribution companies.

General Session & Discussion
How Distributors Use Sales and Marketing Automation Software

George Corugedo, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, Redpoint

The natural evolution of Digital Transformation shifted into overdrive during the pandemic, confirming the need for being on the right side of the Digital Divide. Business leaders need to harness the power of their internal data and deploy strategies that leverage the data for hypergrowth in the new normal. Many technology solutions, such as CDP’s, claim to “do it all” and “it’s easy” yet savvy CIO’s know that there is a big difference between a boardroom demo and successful adoption of new strategies and technologies. We will explore the key elements of a successful CDP or MarTech stack and will discuss the right questions to cut through the sales pitch and make a confident selection of technology that will best drive growth within your organization.

After this session we will:

  • Explain how to partner with business users to find the best technology fit.
  • Articulate which decisions need to be made before the vendors come in.
  • Understand what the must haves are and the nice to haves in the technology.
  • Identify which of the components are in the critical path to success.
  • Suggest some time saving steps for the right vendor identification.

A former math professor and seasoned technology executive, Redpoint Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder George Corugedo has more than two decades of business and technical experience. George is responsible for directing the development of the Redpoint’s rgOne, Redpoint’s leading enterprise customer engagement solution.

George left academia in 1997 to co-found Accenture’s Customer Insights Practice, which specialized in strategic data utilization, analytics and customer strategy. George’s previous positions include director of client delivery at ClarityBlue, Inc., a provider of hosted customer intelligence solutions, and COO/CIO of Riscuity, a receivables management company that specialized in using analytics to drive collections.

Sharing Time: Where are Distributors Using AI & Digital Intersection

Eric Ryerson, Executive Vice President for Development, Infor

Rick Rider, Vice President of Product Management, Infor

The use of artificial intelligence in distribution is growing at a fast pace. More and more distributors are adapting these solutions as a way of gaining more insights into their customers. At this session, we’ll discuss how your peers are using artificial intelligence so that it drives revenue growth for distributors.

We’ll be discussing:

  • what are the different use cases distributors have implemented in AI and Digital Intersection
  • what tools and software they are using
  • what are some of the benefits and opportunities that have appeared in the early part of their journey

Eric Ryerson is an Executive Vice President for Development and has been with Infor since 1998. He is currently responsible for software engineering and development for several industry solutions. His teams maintain and code core ERP systems as well as strategic and innovative components for the distribution and manufacturing markets. Prior to his current role, Eric managed the Professional Services team and served in Product Management.

Striving to be a part of something special – Rick Rider has been fortunate enough to learn from some really brilliant people and work with some incredible technology, with a little flavor of sports sprinkled in as a really fun combination – Biggest motivation is in trying to create an environment of a shared vision and goal and doing whatever the hell it takes to succeed – Enjoy the process, embrace the challenges, and never sacrifice in what you believe – Environment is everything; minimize negativity.
