Kari Heerdt, Senior Vice President of New Business Innovation & Transformation for MSC Industrial Supply, talks with Adam Isenberg, NAW Vice President – Corporate Relations, about the value of participating in the semi-annual NAW Billion Dollar CHRO Roundtable.

The NAW Billion Dollar Company CHRO Roundtable for direct members was created as a new mechanism for the CHRO of large distribution enterprises to network with non-competing peers in multiple lines of trade on key HR issues.

Similar to other billion dollar roundtables NAW has created for the CIO, Operations, CFO, and Chief Legal Officers, this by invitation roundtable is composed of executives from billion dollar companies that meet in Chicago two times per year. This highly interactive group consists of the SENIOR-MOST HR executives. The annual fee is $1,800 per member, which covers meeting costs for two events in a twelve-month cycle. Participants are expected to cover the cost of their hotel and travel. Once the annual fee is paid, there are no additional fees to attend the meetings, which will last one day beginning with a reception and dinner the evening before.

The participating companies can also name an alternate who can take the place of the CHRO, should that person be unable to attend the scheduled meeting.

If you would like to learn more please contact Tara Mostatab at 202.263.4080 or tmostatab@naw.org

Eligibility: Companies with $1B+ in annual revenue.
The NAW Billion Dollar Roundtable is the only opportunity that provides networking and benchmarking exclusively with other top executives of non competing, like-sized Wholesale-Distribution companies.

Rewards: Working Through COVID-19 Challenges

Cory Morrow, Senior Client Partner, Korn Ferry

Craig Rowley, Senior Client Partner, Korn Ferry

Description:  The global pandemic has dramatically altered the way we do business and interact with each other.  The country has entered a recession and this is impacting staffing and expected financial results – for many companies, sales are down and costs are up.  As a result, traditional ways of approaching rewards may be less effective.

During our session, we will:

  • Understand the current landscape and its impact on rewards
  • Review alternative approaches companies are taking for executive compensation, corporate, and DC pay
  • Have time for roundtable discussion to ensure your questions are addressed

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Cory Morrow works in the Executive Pay and Governance practice, partnering with boards and senior executives to develop programs that align performance and rewards with business strategy.

Mr. Morrow has worked for over twenty years as an advisor to both compensation committees and senior management on a wide range of issues in the field of executive compensation, including executive pay strategy, short and long-term incentive plan design, proxy disclosure, severance and retention, succession planning, transactions (including IPOs), board of director compensation, and corporate governance for both public and private organizations.

Craig Rowley has over 25 years experience developing human resources programs that fit a company’s business direction and strategy. This includes the development of programs to guide organization design, performance-based human resources and reward strategy and management. He has worked with some of the leading global companies in these sectors.

Mr. Rowley is the Global Practice Leader for the consumer sector directing the provision of consulting services to all companies in the consumer products, retail, hospitality and leisure, digital and media sectors.
