Office of the President

Dirk Van Dongen is NAW President. He also serves as President of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence, President of the NAW Service Corporation and Treasurer of the NAW Political Action Committee. In addition, Dirk is Past Chairman of the Trade Association Liaison Council, Co-chairman of The Product Liability Alliance, and Co-chairman of the Tax Relief Coalition and the Coalition for Affordable American Energy. He also serves on the Advisory Board of SmartBrief, Inc, and the Advisory Council of Associated Luxury Hotels International.

Government Relations and the NAW Political Action Committee

Jade West is Senior Vice President-Government Relations and oversees NAW's legislative activities on Capitol Hill. She is also Executive Director of the NAW Political Action Committee. Prior to joining NAW, Jade served as Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee and was responsible for a staff of policy experts who provided technical and policy analysis, research papers, talking points, and detailed legislative summaries to Republican Senators and their staffs. In addition, she served as Executive Director of the U.S. Senate Steering Committee.

James A. Anderson Jr. is Vice President-Government Relations and his primary issue areas of responsibility include legal reform, liability insurance, employee benefits, and transportation. He concurrently serves as Political Director of the NAW Political Action Committee, Executive Secretary of The Product Liability Alliance and Co-chairman of the Small Business Liability Reform Coalition. Jim is also a member of the Coalition on Employee Retirement Benefits, the Health Benefits Coalition and the steering committee of the Association Health Plan Coalition. Prior to joining NAW, he was Associate Director of Loss Prevention and Control for the National Association of Manufacturers, and he also served for six years as a Congressional staff member.

Joy Goldman is Vice President-Administration and Manager-Government Relations. She is also Manager-Internal Operations for the NAW Political Action Committee. Joy's primary areas of responsibility include database management, office administration and management of several political and government relations programs.

Thought Leadership

Patricia A. Lilly is Senior Vice President-Thought Leadership and Executive Director of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence. She has overall responsibility for thought leadership functions, including identification, development, and distribution of research studies, and is responsible for certain activities in the areas of communications, sponsorship sales, meetings and educational programming.

Ruth Stadius is Senior Director-Thought Leadership and is responsible for the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence publishing program, which includes identifying, developing and producing research studies and webinars, as well as publication sales. She also has direct responsibilities in the areas of sponsorship sales, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations and media relations.

Corporate Relations

John D. Peter is Senior Vice President-Corporate Relations and has overall responsibility for Corporate Relations, and Membership and Association relations. He is responsible for membership development for NAW's Billion Dollar Company Program and Large Company Emphasis Program (for wholesaler-distributors with sales of more than $100 million to $1 billion). He is also the liaison to NAW's national and regional associations.

Adam Isenberg is Director-Corporate Relations. Over the past decade, he has been a mainstay in the political and membership arena where he has worked on various grassroots and media campaigns, helping the private sector and associations of all sizes stay connected to Washington while providing them a platform to make their voices heard.

NAW Service Corporation

Anthony Simone is Vice President and General Manager-NAW Service Corporation and is responsible for development and management of NAW’s affinity programs. Previously, he worked in financial services, insurance and management with state associations and with a top U.S. insurance/securities brokerage, and in the software industry.
