BiographyMarcus Wilcox is co-founder and president of Cascade Energy, an industrial energy efficiency consulting firm located in the Pacific Northwest.
Marcus Graduated from Whitman College with a degree in Physics, and received his masters in mechanical engineering at Oregon State University. In addition, Marcus was the first student to participate in the US DOE-funded Industrial Assessment Center at OSU.
With 80 employees, Cascade provides a wide range of services including corporate energy management, utility program design and management, and energy efficiency training.
Cascade currently manages the award-winning Energy Smart Industrial program for the Bonneville Power Administration, serving over 100 electric utilities.
Cascade currently provides corporate energy management services for the world’s largest food services company (Sysco), the world’s largest public refrigerated warehouse company (Americold), and distribution centers for two of the top four largest U.S. grocery companies (Kroger & SuperValu).
Marcus’ hobbies include riding dirt bikes, restoring and driving muscle cars, chores on his family’s small Morgan horse ranch, and joining his wife of 20 years cheering his three daughters at volleyball games.
