Dirk Van Dongen is President of NAW. He also serves as Treasurer of the Wholesaler-Distributor Political Action Committee, President of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence, and President of the NAW Service Corporation. In addition, he is Past Chairman of the Trade Association Liaison Council, Co-Chairman of The Product Liability Alliance, and a Director of Citizens For A Sound Economy. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of ADX, Small Business Worldwide, SmartBrief, and the Associated Luxury Hotels International Industry Advisory Council.

Information Systems

Ed Joynes is Chief Information Officer for NAW. He is responsible for the operations and development of NAW's information systems and websites. Mr. Joynes came to NAW in 1997 from a publishing and book distribution company, where he served as Director of Information Systems for six years.

Jeremy Tunnell, Director of Web Operations for NAW is responsible for the NAW website and associated online applications. He graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering in 2005, with an emphasis in networking, security, and encryption. Mr. Tunnell's interests are in Content Management (CMS) and Customer Relations (CRM). He joined NAW in 2006 after serving as Technology Director for the non-profit Students for Saving Social Security.

Government Relations and the Wholesaler-Distributor Political Action Committee

Jade West is Senior Vice President-Government Relations for NAW. Ms. West is in charge of the association's legislative activities on Capitol Hill. She is also Executive Director of NAW's Wholesaler-Distributor Political Action Committee. Prior to joining NAW, Ms. West served as Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee and was responsible for a staff of policy experts who provide technical and policy analysis, research papers, talking points, and detailed legislative summaries to Republican Senators and their staffs. In addition, Ms. West served as Executive Director for the U.S. Senate Steering Committee.

James A. Anderson Jr. is Vice President-Government Relations for NAW. His primary issue areas of responsibility include legal reform, liability insurance, employee benefits, and transportation. Mr. Anderson concurrently serves as Political Director for NAW's Wholesaler-Distributor Political Action Committee, Executive Secretary of The Product Liability Alliance, and Co-Chairman of the Small Business Liability Reform Coalition. He also is a member of the Coalition on Employee Retirement Benefits, the Health Benefits Coalition, and the steering committee of the Association Health Plan Coalition. Prior to joining NAW, Mr. Anderson was Associate Director of Loss Prevention and Control for the National Association of Manufacturers, and he also served for six years as a Congressional staff member.

Joy Goldman is Director-Administration for NAW, Manager-Internal Operations for NAW's Wholesaler-Distributor Political Action Committee, and Administrative Assistant to the Senior Vice President-Government Relations. Ms. Goldman's primary areas of responsibility include database management, office administration, and providing staff support for NAW's political and government relations programs.

Communications

Ron Schreibman is Senior Vice President-Strategic Direction for NAW. He is involved with the association's strategic partnership, communications, industry media relations, publications, and education activities. Mr. Schreibman also serves as Executive Director of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence, NAW's long-range research arm. He is responsible for the foundation's strategic research and industry trends activities.

Ruth Stadius is Director of Communications for NAW. She is responsible for book publishing, trade press media relations, and marketing and communications activities. She also works closely with the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence. Prior to joining NAW, Ms. Stadius was responsible for publications, book publishing, and marketing and communications activities for several professional associations. She also has worked in healthcare consulting, and in the early stages of her career, served for three years as a Congressional staff member.

Corporate Relations

Carl Farr is Senior Vice President-Corporate Relations for NAW. He has overall responsibility for Corporate Relations and Membership and Association relations. Mr. Farr has 14 years of experience with NAW, and prior to returning to the association in December of 2002, was Executive Vice-President USA of Clicksure Limited LLC, an Internet quality standards company in the United Kingdom, United States, and Germany. His responsibilities included corporate development, operations, and sales and marketing in the United States.

John D. Peter is Vice President-Corporate Relations for NAW. Mr. Peter is responsible for membership development and the Large Company Emphasis Program for wholesaler-distributors with sales of more than $100 million. He is also the liaison to more than 100 national associations and more than 50 regional associations that belong to NAW.

Dana Neill, a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), is Director of Member Services. Ms. Neill's responsibilities include development of all specialty meetings for the Large Company and Billion Dollar Company emphasis programs. In addition, Ms. Neill handles marketing, content, and logistics for these events. Ms. Neill works closely with the Corporate Relations Department. Prior to joining NAW, Ms. Neill was with the Computing Research Association as an events and human resources manager.

NAW Service Corporation

George D. Valiga is Vice President and General Manager of NAW's Service Corporation, the NAW subsidiary responsible for development and management of NAW's affinity programs. These programs leverage the group purchasing power of wholesaler-distributors in insurance and other areas. Prior to joining NAW, Mr. Valiga was employed by CIGNA with responsibility for developing new insurance safety groups for associations, as well as managing existing association programs, field staff, and an independent insurance agency network.
